Connect your exchanges and wallets, then generate FIFO output for the tax year you need.

Connect Xero via OAuth
In Coinfig's Integrations panel, click Connect to Xero and authorise your organisation.

Provision crypto accounts
Coinfig creates chart-of-accounts codes 940–948 in Xero (BTC, ETH, stablecoins, clearing, gains, losses, fees, staking income).

Preview draft journals
Choose tax year and posting frequency (monthly or annual), then preview balanced journals before posting.

Post as DRAFT to Xero
Push journals as DRAFT so your accountant reviews and approves them in Xero before they hit the trial balance.

Known limitations
- Journals post as DRAFT — your accountant must approve them in Xero before they affect the trial balance.
- Re-posting is idempotent: already-posted journals are skipped. Void in Xero first if you need to re-post a period.
- Accountant multi-entity mode requires switching to the client workspace before connecting that client's Xero org.
