These terms govern your use of coinfig.tax and the Coinfig application, operated by Silver Sixpence (Pty) Ltd (“Coinfig”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.
The service
Coinfig imports your crypto transaction history from the exchanges, wallets and files you connect, and calculates a tax position to help you prepare a return. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data you connect.
Not tax advice
Coinfig is software, not a registered tax practitioner. Our reports are a tool to assist you and your advisor; they do not constitute tax, legal or financial advice. You remain responsible for your own filings with SARS or any other authority. [REVIEW: legal — confirm disclaimer wording.]
Subscriptions and payment
Access is licensed per tax year. Fees are shown at checkout and processed by our payment provider. Licences are non-transferable. [REVIEW: legal — refund and cancellation terms.]
Acceptable use
- Connect only accounts and wallets you are entitled to access.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service.
- Do not use the service for any unlawful purpose.
Availability and liability
We work to keep the service available and accurate but provide it on an “as is” basis. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited as set out here. [REVIEW: legal — limitation of liability.]
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated, and continued use means you accept the updated terms.
