How to connect Kraken to Coinfig

Open Kraken API settings
Sign in to Kraken and go to Settings → API.

Generate a new key
Create a new API key and grant only “Query Funds”, “Query Ledger Entries” and “Query Open/Closed Orders & Trades”.

Copy the key pair
Copy the API Key and Private Key shown by Kraken.

Connect in Coinfig
Paste both values into Coinfig and run the sync to import your ledger.

Known limitations
- Kraken staking rewards are imported as income; confirm receipt dates for accurate valuation.
