How to connect BitMEX to Coinfig

Open BitMEX API keys
Log in to BitMEX and go to Account → API Keys.

Create a read-only key
Create a key with read-only permissions — never grant order or withdrawal access.

Copy your credentials
Copy the API Key and Secret from BitMEX.

Paste into Coinfig
Choose BitMEX in Coinfig, paste your credentials, and connect to sync.

Known limitations
- Futures and perpetual positions may need a dedicated futures API key or CSV if the standard key omits position-level detail.
- BitMEX does not report directly to SARS; you remain responsible for declaring offshore activity.
