Dark mode, currency limits, and self-service account closure

Coinfig now has a dark mode across the app, reporting currency is limited to the four currencies with verified price coverage, jurisdictions that are not yet live are disabled in the picker, and you can close your account and delete your data yourself.

    Coinfig now has a dark mode covering the dashboard, the reporting and balances panels, transaction detail, charts, the subscription and billing screens, the source-connection wizard, the public site and legal pages, and sign-in and sign-up. A toggle in the header remembers your choice, and the app follows your operating system setting until you pick one.

  • Reporting currency limited to four

    Reporting currency is now limited to the four currencies with verified price coverage: ZAR, USD, EUR and GBP. Countries whose own currency is not one of the four now default to USD instead of a currency Coinfig cannot reliably price.

  • Coming-soon jurisdictions disabled in the picker

    Jurisdictions that are not yet live now show as disabled in the picker instead of being selectable, so you cannot start a report for a jurisdiction Coinfig does not yet support.

  • Close your account yourself

    A new option in account preferences lets you close your Coinfig account and delete your data yourself, without contacting support.

Dark mode

Coinfig now has a dark mode. It covers the dashboard, the reporting and balances panels, transaction detail, charts, the subscription and billing screens, the source-connection wizard, the public site and legal pages, and sign-in and sign-up. A toggle in the header remembers your choice, and the app follows your operating system setting the first time you visit.

Currencies and jurisdictions

Reporting currency is now limited to the four currencies Coinfig can price reliably: ZAR, USD, EUR and GBP. This closes off currencies that were selectable before without full price coverage. If your own country's currency is not one of the four, USD is now suggested instead. Jurisdictions that are not yet live show as disabled in the picker rather than being selectable.

Close your account yourself

Account preferences now include a self-service option to close your account and delete your data, without needing to contact support.

Also in this release

  • Unverified on-chain holdings now display their real value instead of showing R 0.00.
  • The prompt to skip onboarding and go straight to your dashboard is now a full-size, prominent action.
  • Privacy Notice and Terms were updated for the Luno data-processing agreement and a wider review of current data-sharing practice.
  • Checkout for card payments outside South Africa now charges in the currency your card actually supports, instead of a currency mismatch that could fail at checkout.
